Title: 9n originally painted cream?

Does anyone out there know if the 9n ever came out painted cream?  I am restoring a 9n and it looks like it was originally painted cream.  It is painted grey now, but there is cream underneath the grey.  Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

My guess is primer.

They were all dark grey.---lha
