Hi all,

Does anyone have a suggestion for what kind of draft control to buy for a Ford 9N? I've heard of the Zang Thang. Can you offer any other options or advice and links to where they can be purchased?

Thanks,

James

Have 9N over here in England. the engine has shattered a liner and broken con rod main cap. all that is sorted but having crankshaft re-ground. machine shop needs to know what sizes the crank  ( main and big end )  are standard so they can grind to a size where we can get new shells. have liner and piston kit just need that info. 9N,2N,8N, Ford Tractors / 1939 9N hydrolic lever

My 3pt lifts fine and goes down fine, but recently the lever has play when i lift it all the way up. The drawbar still rises but the lever seems to have no resistance for the last 2 inches. Is there any adjustments for this??

My dad-in-law bought this tractor in 1944.  Serial# 159456.  I think this would be a 2N.  Years ago he modified the exhaust system because of a fire he started in a grain field (ran the pipe straight up).  I want to restore to original configuration and need to replace the manifold.  Is there any difference between 9N and 2N in this regard?
