i have my grandfathers 1942 ford 9n and what happens is it runs good but rough. sounds like some cylinders are miss firing. under load runs great. also once it warms up it stalls and wont start back up until cold again. any help appreciated please. Thanks, Jamison

Have you done a tune up?
Check plugs and plug wires. If it has original plugs you most likely need new ones...
Is the gas old or new?
-
plugs and wires brand new brand new gas. just bought a new coil for it and battery. i heard that some coils when warmed up will lose power and let the engine die.

i got it to run, needed a new coil. but the engine still putts like its skippin cylinders. any cure for that?

Make sure the plug wires are on installed correctly and also they are not cross firing.
