Does anyone use a quick hitch? If so do you have any recommendations... Also what size box blade works best on the N series and is there a brand that is better than the rest?

The NAPA stores in Oklahoma are a good local source for me. I would consider going 12V and alternator now before you start buying parts. Seeing that it has been 6 months since your original post I am curious where you are in your endeavor.

9N,2N,8N, Ford Tractors / 9n Ford Tractor Electrical Problems

While using my 9n tractor my battery went dead.  I realized the battery was not being charged while it was running.  Thinking it was the battery, I bought a new battery, but that didn't fix the problem.  I changed the voltage cut out, no luck.  I think I need a new generator for the tractor.  Where is the best place to get reasonable parts for the tractor.  How do you find part numbers.  I think I have a 1946 -47 tractor. Serial number 9n-243131.  Most catalogs don't list the later year models for parts. Any help you can give me, I would appreciate it.

Does anyone have alisting of Transmission & Differential oil capacities and the SAE spec for the oil.   Also would appreciate some input on the oil filter cartridge number.

Hi guys, I have a 9n engine and need to know the standard sizes for the main and big ends as I need them machined and then get the right size bearing shells. the machine shop wants to know the original sizes so they can machine them and know we can get bearibs
