Title: Engine starts, runs, but misses

I have a 9N that starts, runs, moves, but the engine misses.  What is the best way to go about isolating and solving the problem?

Maybe list your solution in finding the problem in order.

Do a tune up

plugs
points
dist cap
condenser
Purchase a complete tune up kit...
also replace plug wires if they are original

replacing the plugs may do it but you should still do a tune up

I put electronic ignition on mine and love it.
Some times our runs like that if it has old gas in it.

And don't forget the gasoline.
Always use stabilizer...try some gas line antifreeze if you think you may have water in the fuel.
