The oil filtered air cleaner is the best design for keeping the dirt and dust out as long as it is cleaned and the oil changed. If your area is not that dusty and you want to change it's up to you.

Should be a little brass tag on it. It will say TSX 33.

Nice Photo. The tube style radius arms on the tractor would indicate the later 2n model? Did you change out the front hubs to accept the 5 lug car style rims? If so what are they off of. I am working on an 8n/v6 conversion and would like to put 15" car style rims on the front.

In 1947 they offered a 16" rim, mostly use with a loader. As far as the car tires?? Were the hubs changed out also or is it still the big hub?

Without seeing the tractor it's hard to tell. The new rear tires are a plus. In my area the 9n's are selling for $1000/ $1800. 8n's about the same price maybe a little more. Non runners are going for $500/$600. The market is way down. If you can post some photos it might help.
I guess it would depend want you are going to use it for. For work the 8n,naa or the hundred series might be a little better for you, for about the same price, but it's your call.
