I know Steiner tractor parts website has an upper radiator hose kit ford the Ford tractors that allows you to install a temp gauge

Been trying to provoke a guy that when the 9n came it only had draft control, it didn't have position control, he stills believes it has position control. I need proof out a ford service manual that it states that the 9n came only with draft control. I greatly appreciate help :)

I am wanting to add a temp gauge to my 9n and i am wondering what and where i should put the sender unit. I can put the gauge where ever i want, but i need to know the best place to put it. Any tips or ideas? I was thinking put in where the drain petcock is for the radiator is if it has one, i havnt looked yet, but that was my idea

Look through the inspection plate[with the dipstick] and make sure that the control arms are hooked to each side of the control valve. Mine came off one time and explored many potential problems before discovering this simple problem.

O'reilly's has BWD brand points for the 9n,2n and 8n. Part # for front mount is A41. They are good points,I've put them onm my '41 9n,and they work well.

I have what I believe to be a 9N, according to the ser.#,,  about a '40 (?)  It also has a  2 speed, which  I thought only was  on  a 2N ?   WAS the  2N the only one to have the  2- speed ?thanks
